I love the new Holley Stealth Ram. Now the only thing that needs fixed is when i come up to a stop or let the car idle it seems to want to try to die or the rpms just drop dramaticly. The rpms are dropping to about 400-500rpms. I am not sure if this is my idle sensor or what is going on, but other then that i like it. I'm not running good times at the strip but i can DEFINETLY tell a difference on the street. I havn't even got to race anyone since i got it in.

Computer? What computer are you talking about? You don't have to spend $2000 on the HSR.

No they dont, engines suck (that is what they are intended to do, its called vacuum and ur carb has nothing to do with it) i cant stand that quote ive heard it a few times now. It just uses the vacuum to control the amount of fuel it lets in. Hell your or anybody elses FI car wouldnt work if your engine didnt suck (least as far as i knew FI cars dont pull in air any differently than a carbed car). FI blows (that is their job after all)

if the venturi on the carb was shaped wrong there would be no air flow (it's jub is technically to speed up the air forcing more in)

if the venturi in the ports of your heads is shaped wrong it would be all f*cked up too , or ur intake manifold, or ur throttle body for that matter

not nearly as bad, a bad carb venturi you won't start, throttle bodies don't have much of a venturi

thats because the venturi in ur carb has a roll to play with like a low pressure area for ur idle mixture or some junk i dont remember exactly what it is
