the gn wasn't that great in stock form (there are very few that haven't been modded, as GM issued a ton of tsb's and recalls on the cars) that slp thing looks like a really small surface area to me, why not just build an intake it's cheap easy, and can be adjusted to your car (just make sure and block it from engine heat or you just wasted every bit of your time and money)
