ORY Help
I bought a Texas Speed ORY to go with my LT Headers.. Well the ORY came in 4 different pieces.. I was wondering if these need to be welded or what.. The people I have talked to told me that there would be no welding at all.. But I am wondering how they go together without welding.. Can someone help?

it should have come with clamps. my guess would be band claps, which are junk.
here's what i would do. weld each individual section of the y-pipe, but clamp the headers to the pipe and then clamp the catback to the pipe. that way the y-pipe is solid and there will be no leaks, and then since its clamped into the system you have options of changing things around if you ever decide to.
only problem with this is, you need to weld it once its installed in the car. so unless youve got a welder at your house, youre gonna need to be at a shop when you install this crap.

the thing about welding the individual sections of the y-pipe is a good idea for the catback as well...
so install everything and use clamps on everything. then just take it to an exhaust shop and say you wanna weld here, here, and here. problem solved.

3" band clamps from napa! adjust them to where the bolts are not hang low and but use a impack and the band clame will streach around the pipes! I have had mine for over a year and still no leaks! They are stainless to and look great!

oh ****. first look i assumed your car was black. thats a dirty undercarriage
and i would suggest not using an impact on anything other than a bellhousing or lug nuts. thats about it.
