Want more Power!!

Ok....I love the idea of supin' up my v6 faster than a v8 because thats somethin great to brag about. On the other hand, Im seriously thinking about fixing my camaro up just alittle more on the inside and selling "Christine" and getting a prefferatably a 97 t-top camaro w/ a v8 and start makeing modifications from there. Only thing stopping me is my car has more sentimental value more than anything, I have always wanted a t-top camaro and i finally got my hands on one with no finacial help what so ever. Also, it is paid for, Still questioning this scenerio, any comments? Enlightin me....
My Stats as well as my Camaro's:

Me
Age: turn 21 August 11th (headin out to daytona to celebrate)
Height: 5'10
Weight 179lbs 11% b/f
ok enough, this isny a weightlifting forum.

Christine
1994 T-top, Top half is black
5% tinted windows all around, 35% in front
Custom HELLRAISER desighn on front windshield.
only down to 2 10' jBL's now in a QLogic sub bandpass box.
Pioneer 4 way speakers front and back, Pioneer cd player.
White Underbody lights.
Taillights blackedout w/shades.
Chain Liscence plate frame.
179,997 Miles on car & Engine.
K&N Filter
New Fuel Pump, New Fuel Lines
Been through two fvckin starters, now the silinoid in my current starter is going out.
bought it...oh and a pair of handcuffs in center console 8)
Long story...
Thats about it. Any suggestions

what the hell are you talking about? if he sells his car he can buy a V8 for almost the same price..

this is the position im in...and my car has extreme sentimental value...new paint, cam and custom ported heads, so much money into the resto of everything...yet nothing will stop me from my V8.

If i Switch out my V6 for a v8 then id have to also have to sqwitch the transmission, Lets not forget the labor price, i have a buddy of mine that does all my car work but still, its gonna be a *****. Im thinking of just aiming for buying a newer model v8.
