Yeah I love the look of the new stang, but when you sit in it, it feels like youre sitting on hard plastic. The seats suck, visibility sucks, now I've never driven one, but I unfairly compare everything I drive to my Rabbit, and nothing compares to 390 ft/lbs of torque in a 1900 lb car. However it is a hell of alot easier to get in the backseat of a new mustang than it is to get around my rollcage. And the fixed carbon fiber seats are lousy for making out in. Stupid lumbar supports. The best new car we've looked at as far as I'm concerned is the A4. But I can't afford it, so I'll stay with my 89 Grand Voyager, and my 12.36 sec Rabbit. Now finally turned 90,000 km on the weekend.

RSX-S will keep up with a 90's GT. Don't think I'm a Honda fanboy, my car makes more torque at the wheels than a RSX-S does at the crank too, but it's a lot slower because it can't rev and makes no power up high.

I didn't mean to compare the cars, I meant to compare the torque curves. Besides, the RSX-S isn't meant to be a straight line-oriented car like the stang is... it's wrong wheel drive to begin with :hah:

well it's still american quality ... you can get the 300 hp stang sports car at 35 k , or the entry level family midsize sedan from audi starting at 45 :P

I said I wouldn't make any more comments on this issue, but this post hits it right on the nail: Can't think outside the box.. THAT IS SO DAMN TRUE. Individuality NOT INCLUDED..

b.t.w: To the person that said he owns a tissot t-touch.. This is definitely a case of having more money than brains.. Only an idiot would spend that much money buying a tissot. That's fine though, I would expect that out of someone who can't "think outside the box".

b.t.w 2: All v8s are a piece of wood? Great comment audi_rs.. Must be how you believe 2x6600GTs are amazing? It's great how a majority of the ppl here are blithering idiots.. Kinda like spending $5000 on a computer with $1300 video card eh?

rabbitman 07-26-2005 06:52 PM

:0wns: All of you. This thread rocks. Too bad that mondokyle doesn't own a car, and strokerace thinks that a 1984 deisel jetta is faster than a 1990 passat with a 2l 16v 5 speed. BTW any watch that cost more than $19.99 is too much. Any one who drives a civic needs to get an imagination. And anyone who spends 5000 on a computer = :supergay: . And last, KEEP IT COMING!!!

Oh WOW now this is funny... number one, your calling turning a civic into an acual fast car Non originial? i'm sorry but there isn't too many decently fast civics out there or honda's in general... and you think making your mustang fast is original??? good lord you need to open your eyes.

personally i like my honda slow. and under powered.
if i decide to make it a bit faster and i get to pick off a 50,000 dollar stock GT stang once and awhile thats what gets me going.

going around beating up stock civics in my dubble the horsepower dubble the displacement v8 stang or what ever doesn't do anything for me. personally thats a pretty gay thing to brag about. :supergay:

Dude, do you know how to speak english or even read it. You made no sense whats so ever.Take some spelling and grammer lessons.

This thread is retarded.

I'll sum it up this way:

Mondokyle - computer nerd sitting in front of his $5000 computer all day because he has no car or girlfriend to occupy his time. Blabbers on about 4 cylinder engines being when he clearly doesn't know all about cars and has never owned or been in a fast 4 cylinder car (if he had, he wouldn't have made this thread).

Strokerace - A dude old enough to be my Dad who has a warped perspective on how quick cars are, for example, thinks his buddies stock Integra LS's run 14's.

There are people in this thread who know what they are talking about, and some who pretend to know what they are talking about... I'm sure you guys can figure out who fits into what category.

Strokerace 07-27-2005 12:09 PM

^^ I already told you that I made a mistake on the time. I was off by a second. The fact is, majority of the people here don't know what fast is. All they know how to do is read something in a magazine or follow what a friend has done without ever knowning what they are doing. They all think throwing a turbo or NOS on a 4 banger and then beating a V8 is cool. Maybe in some books it is, but not mine. I know that there are alot of 4 banger doing low 7's and possibley into the 6's, but there is not one of them that are even close here in Canada. Also, there is not to many here that can build their own cars either. What I mean by that, is the hole car, including suspension, cage engine and trannies. Non of this run to some shop to get them to install or fabricate something for the car. Like I said before, poeple don't know how to think outside the box or magizine. In other words, they lack imagination. Unlike you , B6T, who has take a very unpopular car and turned it into something different. There is only a few others on this site that have built cars that aren't mainstream, the others here are just followers.

Nice post man! Don't forget that strokerace thinks that a 84 jetta diesel is faster than a 90 - 94 2l 16v 5 speed passat. Oh and I don't know anything about VW engines.
