I'd hate to race an SRT4 simply for the fact that the douchebag driving it thinks he's going to surprise me because he thinks that I don't know what an SRT4 looks and sounds like, and I end up laying him a beating because my car has a bigger turbo, is 1000lbs lighter, and produces more power. Unlike you, I'm not a 16 year old moron that can't tell a base SX 2.0 from an SRT4 with its obnoxious exhaust and Supra sized spoiler! You're obviously another one of those SRT4 fan boys...

I don't know the exact figures about how many of the sub 11 second Hondas are street legal but I can tell you that there are more 11 second street driven Civics then there are 11 second Ecotec powered cars.

God i dont hate hondas or imports at all, im just defending the j-body platform, its just as good as the civic/teg. Or maybe so many people mod civics because they want to be like somebody from the fast and the furious. lmao

Based on the engine/suspension/drivetrain modifications available for a honda civic (coupe,sedan or hb) compared to what is available to a jbody...The honda is a far better platform. If you can't see why, you dont deserve to be near an automobile.

oh there are lots of engine/suspesion/drivetrain mods available for cavys too, just not as many, but there are plenty of mods available. I look at the mods civics have, and i see the same mods on cavys/sunfires!

Look man, I was just posting to say some positive things to the guy who`s dads got a cavalier he wants to do up. Bottom line who really gives a who`s the fastest and king of the street, if you like your car, youlike your car, and anyone who`s willing to come on here and swear and put other people`s cars down must A:have a small dick, B:have no self esteem at all, C:is extremely insecure, or D: and this is my personal favourite all of the above, get laid and get a life pal to anyone who ***** on anyone elses car.

No it isn't, it's not even close. Here's an example, your car has been using the same brake design since the early 80's, poorly designed calipers that always seize up front, and a nice rusty drum brake in the rear. The Civic/Integra can use an assortment of four wheel discs, from the brakes that come on the EG Civic Si to the Intega Type-R brakes.

Someone mentioned earlier that a Civic needed to have an engine swap to be fast while the J-body is fast with the engine in it. Not true, Civics overseas came from the factory with the engine people most often swap in (B16A). We never got that model here so people have to do the job Honda should have done themselves.
