Three seconds, ouch!!
Dude, you just posted that the S2000 is 3 mile per hour faster at the 1/8th mile than the charger. You really are retarded.

And in order for a Civic to run 13's (or 14's which most of them actually run in street trim), you "gatta" swap the engine for one that, a) typically costs 2x more then what the car it's being installed in is actually worth, and b) is usually stolen. So you tell me what's better, turbocharging/supercharging an existing engine, or having to replace everything in the engine bay.

You know what, don't reply to this. Thinking doesn't really seem to be a skill you posess, so I don't really want to trouble you.

By the way, you know what classifies as a domestic? The C6 Corvette Z06. Show me ANY japanese car currently on the market that can even come close to touching that car in the 1/4 AND on the race track.

Unless it is of the SRT variety, which, in bone stock form, will run 13 seconds.

OR, the new 'Vette Z06.

Slap some DR's on her and run low 11s all day.

yes, what about the C6 corvette? and the viper? both very nice cars. they do build better trucks than imports. the new escalades are gorgeous.

good point... hmmm.. loads of stock european cars that can compete with the c6, but japanese... quickest one i can think of is the IS350, there are stock IS350's with time slips posting 13.2-13.6 on clublexus.com. Still not good enough for C6 in terms of performance.

I love some domestics, some of them are crap true. But they are not as unreliable as people say, I've had good luck with domestics worse with imports. They make some ridiculously well performing cars for minimum dollars, i.e LS1 Camaro low 13s some in the 12s stock, what Japanese car can pull those numbers for anything even close to that price. European cars are definitly the best they are enthusiast cars for people who truly love to drive, american cars are for people who love to go fast, Japanese cars are for people who hate driving or wanna pretend that they are something they are not(****ing civic humpers).

PS BMW has used and I believe still uses GM automatic transmissions for many of their cars.
