hyundai tiburon
lately my car has had problem after problem after problem. either f bodies are pieces of **** or they just arent built to take the kind of abuse i dish out. my last two LT1s have had so many problems i almost cant keep up with them.
so im going to try again...when my Z28 pissed me off i took out a loan and got a low mileage car. i shoulda gone lower. like, 0 miles. so now im going to look for a brand new car (with warranty ) for around 350 a month (which is around 20,000 or less).
the only thing that appeals to me is the tiburon. it is sexy as hell IMO. of course i'd get the GT. it doesnt get as good of gas mileage as say a civic, but i want something sporty and ive heard really good things abut the tiburon its only cons being mileage (still better than my ****** 13 mpg average) and its lack of power (compared to other import v6s).
so what do you guys think of them overall? ive heard that hyundai is really starting to build very dependable cars, and with a 10yr/100,000k warranty, i cant go wrong.

i would probably keep the motor completely stock since its slow i wont be tempted to beat on it. i'd just maybe lower it tint the windows and get some rims in the future...but here are some nice looking ones.

The only thing I have to say is this.
Its A Hyundai
Remember that.
It might look moderately good, but imo a peice of ****.

I think they look good, but haven't heard much about them.
You'd also have to change your name to RiceInside. JK.

If you like sitting on a cinder block created seat, then its for you. Most uncomfortable car ive ever sat in (granted, it was the cloth seats, if they have leather, Id say thats a must) but the only thing I can compare it to was sitting against the side of a building.
On the bright side, I think they are cool looking cars. I actually am quite fond of them. Anything for a DD shouldnt be much of an issue... Or are you throwing in your american cards?

i heard the seats and ride quality are just like a mercury cougar, which is what my sister has, and they are far from comfortable, also it is very "tinny" and just cheap lightweight. if you know what i mean
anyways, idk what your problem is dude. last two LT1s ive owned, had to change waterpump on my Z, and fix the EVAP code on my T/A. thats the only work ive been forced to do besides maintenance.

its an ok looking car but im not really into them, but ive pretty much decided to keep my v6 and turbo it and rebuild everthing and make it moderatly fast because every one with a v8 f body has all kinds of problems and i never hear of any problems with the 3800II and on top of that ive heard that they are some of the best engines ever built, but yea if ur looking for something with good mpg and stuff its a pretty cool car i think

Another vote for a 350Z. Nissan makes dependable cars and it is quite fast. I personally love the looks of 350Z's.

Well I have always thought the tiburon was A girl car, jus like the celica...but for a DD its an okay car...i would keep it stock and not put any money into it...except like some1 else said lowering it and tint, and maybe a system.

You guys are outa your mind if you think he can get a 350z for 20K or less. Remember - he's looking for a daliy, not something cool.

you can get a 98 240 for around 8000k
Or a 91 - 93 with an sr or rb swap for around 5k.
