b20 vtec
im planning on doing a b20 vtec build this summer....anyone have any ideas on how much power i could be making, and what i need to get the most power outta this build?

Very good power. Just make sure you at least change the pistons to something with a slight higher comp ratio. A good valvetrain with cams and a tune would make the car a blast to drive. Oh and bolt ons etc.

yup what he said
also make sure you use ARP Rod bolts, main studs and head studs. machine work is almost a must if you want it to be reliable and rev high and not blow it up.

ahh man forced induction is way cheaper then N/A if ur looking to achieve equal results. if u run at a low psi for daily driving, and ur not spooling every damn gear, then ur chances of blowing your motor are the same as an N/A setup. besides, if u blow a heavily modded motor u will most likely lose the majority of the money u put into it, where as if ur boosted, ur turbo doesn't get damaged just a thought.

yeah, if you use the b20 rotating assembly(crank, rids, pistons) that will put you at about 9:1 compression which is perfect for boost. The only thing i suggest is resleeving the block
