And what you describe differs not a bit from every two-bit dictator in
the world today.

Read the speeches of former Soviet premiers. Read Castro, Chavez, or
countless others who need a boogeyman to lead their weak-minded.
Instead of gratitude for what the U.S. gives the world in aid during
crises, these cretins need us as a bad guy. Why? It takes their minds
off of their misery, starvation, and the wallets they've never seen
full so as to support the very few in the country who live above
poverty. Any communist regime of past or present fits this nicely.

BTW, for any idiot thinking they can twist the above to apply in any
way, shape, or form, to fit our current or past leadership, be it on
the left or right, I've chosen my words carefully. You'll not make the
fit, as the U.S. simply does not fall into this description. If it
did, then people from the applicable areas wouldn't be fighting to get
here. I've yet to see illegals trying to sneak into Venezuela or Cuba.

The issue is control. Always has been, and always will be.

The amazing thing is there is a school in Virginia run by SAUDI ARABIA
that teachs hate against Americans. But then all the 9/11 hijackers
except one were from Saudi Arabia.

It's a much deeper problem than what they wear on their heads or how
brown they are. American oil companies will sell you and me and our
families down the river for oil and profits while they protect oil
producing states.

Yes, it goes to the oil companies trying to accomplish the
maximizing of profits. it goes to the devout Islamics who believe the
Koran when it says "kill the unbeliever wherever you may find him".
It goes to our western liberals who have so little respect for other
cultures that they set up "womens shelters" in Saudi Arabia and
Afghanistan where women openly flaunt the law of the land. It goes to
commuters who want their 4 bedroom house so badly that they are
willing to drive for 2 hours a day to get it. It goes to our
leadership which blathers about hydrogen and ethanol as though those
can possibly have relevance. It goes to Christian fundamentalists who
are basically bin laden minus the turban. It goes to the The prophet
Muhammed who said "the laws of god supersede the laws of man", which
means that a Muslim is a Muslim first and an American second. It goes
to Bill Clinton who signed the law that the CIA cannot buy information
from criminals (as though Polly homemaker has info about Al-Qaeda).
It goes to the environmentalist movement here which blocked the
construction of nuclear plants for 40 years so far.

These problems can be laid at anyone's feet with justice. The
sad truth is that this is a problem caused by, ignored by, exacerbated
by, and continued by, YOU AND I and every other specific person.

In the town where I live, there is a planned 500 MW windfarm. It
is being hotly disputed on NIMBY grounds. The most recent planned
nuclear power plant (seabrook) in the US was fully constructed and
never went operational due to environmentalism. This crap has got to
stop.

Heh, an accurate assessment. Especially the "It goes to Christian
fundamentalists who are basically bin laden minus the turban." Welcome

Heh, an accurate assessment. Especially the "It goes to Christian
fundamentalists who are basically bin laden minus the turban." Welcome

Really?! So, if a wind farm is shut down and seabrook is kaput, where
did the information come from to do so? Now, I expect 'the liberal
left'. So, does this 'the liberal left' own the media? Sounds like a
contradiction to me as 'owners' are typically business people, not
bleeding hearts.

Why are folks on usenet so braindead? Oh, maybe you are well educated.....

Get off your high horse of being better than the next guy. 'We' are all
on this planet together.... Nothing is accomplished by saying we could'a
or it is 'their' fault. It just feeds a puny ego......

Start addressing our present condition if you believe there is something
to be done.

Dear Dumbass,

Yes, the "liberal left" owns most of the media in this country. You see it
in the blame game already starting up about how Bush is responsible for the
California wildfires. I've been fighting the loony liberal left's lies
since 1970, WTF have you been doing? And they have practically anointed
Hillary the next Prasident and Reich Chancellor, or is that Party Secretary?

Our 'present condition' is this:

1. The Democrats want to be in power and run things just like the
Communists did in Russia.

2. The Republicans have lost their way and got whipped at the polls in 06,
because the average American doesn't want 1 and the Republicans appear to be
caving to 1.

3. The media are trying to hide fact 1 and 2 by spinning it to appear that
something else is happening.

4. We could be tapping ANWR, and drilling for oil off the coast of Florida
and California instead of paying ragheads for their oil, but environmental
whack-jobs don't want to do that.

5. We could be using nuclear power, but after the China Syndrome, the
environmental panic babies don't want that either.

6. We could be developing alternative fuel sources, but Big Oil wants to
make sure that any such alternates to oil stay costly and inefficient with a
little help from the environmental nut-cases.

Now go get your nurse to give you a high colonic. Now hold it and go do a
20 mile hike. That ought to clear out your brains.
