In MANY respects, I am *exactly* the 'stupid common man' As are
you and everyone else. I know a few things that not everyone does, a
few things that very few do, and I can analyze alternatives when
presented to me, and sometimes detect bullshit. however, the number
of things I do know divided by the number of things I do not know is
zero, just like everyone else. I am generally capable of recognizing
sarcasm, however, you must remember, this is usenet, where absolute
stupidity is presented as serious analysis.

Probably. However, it is an over-generalization of an observable
phenomenon. Speak to *any* business owner, 9 times out of 10, he/she
will be pretty conservative (the 10th will be a government contracting
company of one stripe or another).
