The engine
did get a chance to rev to about 6000 RPM (maybe more) before I realized
what was happening and lifted off. It wasn't yet down to idle when 3rd
gear decided to grab, so there was a bit of a jolt.
Did you have something similar?
No, just contemplating.......it hasn't happened to me. I do use the
"slapstik" as I call it, most often shifting down for engine
breaking.....let us know how it develops.(or repeats)
