Honestly, who cares. Both cars are brutal slow grocery getters. If I had to bet, I would put my money on the guy riding the bicycle beside them down the track.
If I were forced, I would put my cash on the Honda only because it would probably not break down if it revved over 5000 rpm like the crapalier. Either way, hope the window tint is dark enough that nobody has to see the drivers.

hahahahahahaha couldnt have said it better myself. Who do you think is faster my 2 year old cousin or his twin brother?. lol what a joke

judgez24 07-27-2007 02:04 PM

you know ill tell you guys something. ive wanted to buy something newer, something more luxusious and something a little nicer on the eyes for a while. but the shock value i get with this car cant be beat. how do you guys think the guy in the corvette feels when he gets lengthed by a fuken cavalier? ill tell you how.

this is a story of how i met a friend of mine tom. on the stock motor with just the turbo we were out one nite hunting for anything that seemed worthy. that week had claimed a few 5 liter mustangs, an rx8 which was like picking on a retarded 5 year oldthat licked glass. and then we saw a c5 vette. at first he didnt want a shot at me and we left it at that. later on in the nite we saw the same car and again he didnt want anything to do with me but the fox body that was near us did. after pumping this guy about 8 times and letting him jump me evrey time we pulled over and tom followed. he was quite impressed withthe car and we went for a spn on the hiway. he couldnt believe ohw fast the little cavalier was, it jst blew his mind. then he got pumped by my buddies srt4 which again, suprised the out of him. so tom is a mid 20's guy who owns a photography business and as it turns out, has a hot stripper wife. so he claims to have an 03 m3 black on black. so were like yeah thats cool. he says he wants someone to drive the car that knows how to drive it and tells us hes gonna be right back.

about 15 minutes goes by and we're starting to feel like asses for waiting that long. and right about when were ready to pack it in, up pulls a black m3. no we think. tom pulls up, we check the car out, he throws me the keys, te 3 of us hop in and im behind the wheel. let me tell you. this thing was refined. it was quiet, it held the road like a well prepped drag strip. it was a joy to drive. 6 spd and all. so i pull out of the parking lot and give her and it feels good. get onto the hiway and open it up a little, wot shifting this car and tom looks like he jt saw a ghost. i dont think hes ever pushed the car nerly as hard as i did. so we get off the hiway and get onto a country road that we drag race on. no houses. just miles of straight road. so i stop and tel ltom im gonna launch it. and i do from about 4500rpm. the car grabs and ****s off, i poweshift my way all the way into 6th gear and evnetually tom got too scared and told me i should stop. so i slow down. we did a few windy on and off ramps and this thing just held the gorund nice.

but, in the end the cavalier is still faster than an m3. not as refined, not as comfortable, not nearly as quiet. but faster. and it wasnt an 80 000 dollar debt as the cars been paid for for a long time now.

id love something new, but i hate getting into debt. im more than capable of affording something like that if i want to, but i dont wanna get into the debt. ive got luxury and comfort in the form of my 01 explorer sport. this is just a toy. although the thought had crossed my mind to upgrade to a new sti until i priced out the insurance on it. and that turned me off because its classified as a sports car. so yeah, for now ill drive this. next car will probably be rwd with a v8 ;)

fousse69 07-27-2007 05:32 PM

well said. But here is the thing. Even tho you cav was faster a vett is still a vett, an m3 is still an m3. He probably gets looks everywhere he goes while the only time you will get looks and respect is when you rape a 80 000 dollar car. Proving your car is fast can get awfully expnsive. Take it from me man get an expensive car when you are young and enjoy it. Because once you are old nobody cares that you have a porsche or a ferrari. People laugh at the old basterds going through mid life crisis. If you are ever going to do it do it now. and pick up a lot of hoes drooling on the hood of your car because it works man :la:

fousse69 07-28-2007 09:58 PM

yah and as soon as u open the hood of ur 80 000 400 hp vette ppl r like man i can go to a chev dealership and buy the same thing but if u open the hood of ur cavy thats 400 hp ppl r like wow how did u do tht man or a 250 hp honda ppl r like man that must have taken some work or dedication and buying a fast car proves u have a deep pocket building one proves ur capable of doing it....ever hear the saying "built not bought"?i agree a m3 or vette gets looks but a 400 hp cavy or civic get respect....
