It should be interesting with bluray and hddvd now that companies are taking sides in strictly selling one or the other. Ex. blockbuster I believe is only going to have bluray. So I personally think its going to all balance out like ford and chevy.

Neither side will win. Downloadable content will be the big thing. But with more **** on HD DVD, it will have a slight edge for deviants like myself.
I bought the HD DVD player for the 360 3 weeks ago and watching 300 on that blew me away in comparison to having watching it on regular DVD a couple weeks prior.
I actually went with HD DVD when Paramount annouced they would be exclusive to HD DVD. Paramount is the one who made Transformers so knowing that I had to get it in HD.

we have them both at our house, i like the 360 better because of all the games for it, I dont like zelda or games like that so that pretty much leaves me to wii sports on the wii.

just before nintendo brought out the wii they told the industry papers and magazines they were not going to make anymore consoles, so I think it's just a matter of time before it goes away, and then you have a brick with only a few games

Wii is awesome for parties, no joke, entertainment at its best, 360 pure gaming, I want both! but I have friends with them, no reason to buy one when I can use them any time I want my next purchase is Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicals.

I get a better deal buying one through best buy accomodations. $10 less than a pro, and it comes with 2 games and an extra controller. Only problem is I have to wait 10-15 days... but my tv doesnt work right now, so no problems.

So here's what I'm thinking right now, buy a 37" LCD tv(currently have a 27" tube tv) along with the 360 pro and a bunch of games.
Plus I have digital cable but can't get the digital channels to come in on my crappy tv so it really might be a good idea. Then I can move that tv to the bedroom and the 24" tv in the bedroom to my office.
