360 or Wii

I think the LCD is a much better choice for a tv, I have never been impressed by the plasma picture quality, unless you go with the Panasonic, or Pioneer. For the LCD go Sharp, Philips, Toshiba or Panasonic (Sharp is probably the best on the smaller sizes and Panasonic gets the best reviews as the size goes up) avoid Sony as Sharp builds all their LCD's and they just charge more, LG is a Philips

TV's to me are like shopping for speakers. Everybodies preferences are different. Whatever looks best to your eye is the tv to get. I use the net just for reviews on dependability more then anything else. I personally prefer the glass screen on a plasma over the picture of an LCD. It just makes the picture look clearer IMO. But I also like my projection HDTV thats 3-4 years old over any of the newer DLP projections.

There was a bunch of times I barely moved the wiimote and it fired the putt 50 ft past the green. Short game, and chipping was the worst though. Hopefully they fixed that for the 08 version.

The thing that steered me away from plasmas was the possibility of burn in and the panel life on them. I know there are some manufacturers that are trying to come up with ways to stop the burn in but it would always be in the back of my mind. We have the TV on more than the 5 hours a day or whatever they use to get the life of the panels too so it wouldn't last as long for me, and I was told the LCD's had a longer life so we went with that.
I will agree that standard def. takes some time to get used to on the LCD since it seems blurry at times but HD makes up for it in my opinion.

by burn do you mean glare or what? that's why we got an LCD just for glare reasons with the room we are in. but also saved a **** load of money by getting a rear projection just a little bit deeper but i can lift our 42" or 48" whatever it is on my own

no, burn in.. a good example is like if you pause your movie for a long time, and come back like 2 hours later, shut off the tv and the image is still there. Ive seen it happen on monitors before, its pretty gay.
