Hmm, I missed most of this. But yeah, first of all, I can't beleive your giving up on LT1. Second of all ... I can't believe your giving up on LT1.
Anywho, if those you listed are the only ones your looking at, get the Cobalt SS. Or that WS6 your talking about.

240s are pretty neat, but personaly i couldnt imagine anything other than an LT1, at least not for a few years. and idk how all you julios have so much trouble with them. knock on wood, mine has been great. o yes... its faster than some LS1s.hehe

Are you telling me that your 14 second LT1 is faster than stock 13 second LS1s? Maybe if the LS1 driver is sleeping, or the car has been bagged. Hell, my Jeep is faster than a Ferrari if the driver doesn't know I'm racing him.

matt just cant hook up. look at his 60 foot!
i dont know who posted it...but how is motor more important in a daily driver?! its the interior and ride that mean the most IMO. i kinda know what you mean...reliability...but in the day to day aspect the interior and ride are what matter.
the tiburon is a really really nice interior and it was very comfortable. black leather with red cloth inserts. for 45 series tires it rode very nice. the automatic i drove had the shiftronic which was a manual shift auto and damn was i impressed. most others that ive driven, chrystler 300 especially, shift automatically if you dont and they have a long delay. the tib was really a true manual shift. only difference is it wont let you go down to 1st unless youre under 15 mph and its only 4 gears
so thats why im wondering if i should get an auto or a 5 speed...also the system...should i pay extra for the infinity stereo with subwoofer or get the basic cd player and install my crunch sub and amp?

Try freeway merging with a Yaris, then try with a car that has a pair. It's much easier and you have much more confidence in the car with the *****. Horsepower and torque aren't just to attract 17 year olds with their parents' money.

I still cant believe your trading your bird for a tiburon. You said youre taking out a loan for 20k anyway, why dont you just go with another car that you claim "too expensive".
Overall its your decision, but thats just my .02
