i agrew with you, street racing is wreckless and definatly avoidable but kids modify their cars to race, they wanna see who has the fastest car and they dont wanna spend hours driving to the track. a track in or near the gta would solve so many problems

I know of alot of people that used to go to the track every week end, my self included, that now avoid the track because of the opp and mto writing fines for stupid . Most of which is perfectly legal.
The track manager has even asked them to stop because it is hurting business, but they had no interest in stopping their checks.

It isn't an either-or game. You don't get to bargain "not street racing your car" IF the cops will turn a blind eye to illegal or unsafe mods on your car
Less fines and headaches? Only until you get caught.
Between the up-to-$10,000 fine, the car impound, the license suspension, a potential car crushing as a bonus, and then the massive insurance surcharges when you get your license and a car again, there's a world of hurt waiting for you on the street.

I love going to the race track every year ... it is tonnes of fun and it is a good gathering for people. I mean this gives the younger enthusiansts things to spend there money on rather then drugs and getting corrupt and washed up with the effects of those things. I think everyone have been battling for a track in the GTA for a long time now but they don;t seem to get it. I mean this world is so messed up they have to make everything a big deal!

Ya you can beat most of them in court, but it is now up to you to take the time off work and lose pay to fight them.
Not saying this is a good excuse to race on the street, but the word is out that they are doing this and people are staying away from the track and taking their chances on the street because of it.

Beating a charge in court is not the same as your car having been legal.

Don't squeal your tires then. That's pretty simple, isn't it? Or be an immature jerk on the streets and face the repercussions.
