and if you are racing in an area populated by pedestrians, Shame on you.
Go find an industrial section or take the 1.5 hour drive to the track.
You are responsible for your actions, if you get caught your gonna be screwed. if you crash and kill someone, they will put you under the jail.
We performance minded automotive enthusiests have enough bad publicity., so be careful.
and to the cops reading this, it wasn't me, leave me alone

Which leaves, I would think, two possibilities.
A) They are trying to encourage people to race on public roads, for lack of a better place. And, in essence, create a high profile 'problem'.
B) They want to eliminate all modified vehicles from public streets, so middle class mothers of 4 won't be threatened by street racing thugs on the way to walmart.

Like the *** clown in the black RX8 last night. First driving at 80 weaving all over the raod, then cranking it up to 160. Not only would my 740 roast your piece of scrap (no I was going to prove it on that road) but you are a clown for driving like that while drunk.
Most of these "street racing" incidents in the media involved alcohol anyway.

z tuned, 100% i agree with you man, someone form the old tsr told us a story once of how he went into an mtpoo building which was run completely by indians, and theyd go out side sit in the car for 15 minutes come back in and look, they have a license, they obviously exchange a bribe and call it a day. that really pissed me off as i had to go through driving school and pass my graduated licensing bullshit while some piece of who doesnt know what a sto psign is or that green means go just pays their way into driving on our roads.

1 thing that I believe is that our PM is just lazy, there have been a lot of stop street racing programs here and they have spent a lot of money on these programs so why not just use that money to build a race track, there are a lot of people that will drive 1.5 hours to race on the track but even if you do and there are cops just waiting for you to leave the track and check your car then people will say whats the point of driving 1.5 hours to do it legally at the track when they can just do it on the streets, me and my friends went to tmp yesterday and just as we left we all got pulled over and cops checked to see if we had anything illegal on our cars, they need to build a track here, hell it doesn't have to be state of the art just something basic, I will admit it won't stop street racing (street racing have been around since the car was built) but it will cut down, thats just my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

thing is the cops really dont care. ive called 911 a few time son the hiway folloiwing a drunk driver and they patch me through to the opp and the opps is like ok we'll look into it. ive offered to follow the vehicle and stay on the phone so that the proper actions can be taken and they alwasy tell me not to do anything about it.

thats the problem man. you go to the track, drive an hour or 2 or 3 for some to race your car legally and then you get screwed by the cops. i sat in that line man, twice in fact. trust me it wasnt my cup of tea and thats why i will always prefer to street race. fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.
there wont be a third time

i agree. hell being tired your more likely to crash than you are street racing. nothing like falling asleep at the wheel at 120 kph. i agree that street racing is dangerous and its one of those scenarios that can be avoided, but so can most of the other ones, infact all can be if people just pay attention

This lady bumped into me one time when I was in my expedition... no damage was done. She told me that she was trying the change the radio while talken on the phone, and wasn't paying attention
