We used to get all sorta of ****** up people at my last job at advance auto, Really some people shouldnt play around with cars. I had some of the dumbest ******** ever ask for **** like halogen fluid and The best one I had an old lady come in asking if we could put a transmission in for here like the free battery and wiper blade installation. Oh and the all time favorite prank calls asking for a flux capacitor. Gotta love dumb people.

Ok, so that guy in my class tonite gave a presentation for like a half hour with that ****** thing in his ear... All I could do was stare at it and have visions about kicking him in the side of the neck to break it into pieces... then while hes in recoil, recovering from the blow and dissapointment of demolishing his half ear-muff, I give him one of these:

I've been missing out on this thread.
Some parts people are surprised that I know my VIN. I knew it 2 days after my car was VIN'd, 5 weeks before it was delivered.
And they still can't find the correct parts for my car.
One truly brilliant pair refused to look up a headlight for me. This is at a Chebby/Pontiac dealership. I said I want a headlight for my TRANS AM (to make it simple enough for these tards to deal with), and these tards kept saying "you want the bulb or the outside lens?" and I would repeat I want the headlight, and they kept repeating, back and forth. I told them I'd go to a dealership where people could look up parts.

And Paarman - didn't know you worked at Taco John's, love that place, go there as much as I can, and don't eat spicy stuff. Used to be the only place to get a decent Quesedia, but that was before they put one on their menu. Which location are you at?

Which reminds me, I also like offering the VIN for my vehicle at parts stores, the parts clerk says no, they don't need it, they can look up the part without the VIN, then they don't ask the pertinent questions of the vehicle specifics and sell me the wrong part. When I return the part, the return clerk says that if I'd given them the VIN, they could have looked up the correct part and avpoided this problem - DUH!! I have a Firehawk, which has different parts from other birds - all detailed correctly in my VIN profile, My Dodge Ram has heavy duty everything, which is detailed in the special codes within the VIN, and my S-10 also has some special W-codes or something in my VIN, making even radiator hoses completely incompatible (and tearing apart my engine bay at midnight with the wrong parts really irritates me.)
